Springfield High School Class of 1974 35th Reunion
From: Ray Supper, Liz Isherwood, and Carol Finley
Date: Saturday, May 30, 2009
Location: Paddock Hunt Room
Time: (7:30- 11:30p.m.)
We’re pleased to announce that the Reunion will be held at the Paddock at Devon, 629 West Lancaster Avenue, Devon, PA 19087. http://www.devonpaddock.com/
The Paddock is owned by Carol Breingan Finley and her husband Stephen Finley.
We are facing some difficult times and at one point even considered putting the Reunion back into next year. We used the Evite system to poll as many of you as possible to aid in the selection of the date which was whittled down to the best overall selection. May 30th is also a relatively easy weekend for travel ans it is past the Memorial Day Holiday
Carol came forward and worked out a package which we feel is very good in terms at keeping the event as affordable to allow as many as possible to attend. We figured a Cash Bar would work the best this time around as it allows everyone the flexibility to choose their own quality and quantity on drinks.
As far as dinner, you are welcome to make individual reservations via the restaurant www.devonpaddock.com or a system called open table and you can request seating in the Reunion Room. Dinner is not included in the Reunion Costs of $25.00 per person.
We need to get everything officially reserved and to do that we need to get as many of you as possible to send the check for $25.00 per person at your earliest convenience. Please mail a check to:
Ray Supper
8704 Liberty Place
Tampa, FL 33615
You previously answered “Yes” on the Evite system and do not have to anything there unless you wish to change your response or comments you previously made. You just need to send in your payment ASAP.
Liz and I will also be getting back to you in about 2 weeks via Email about doing a program for the Reunion and see if anybody is interested in buying Sponsorships. Also a great many (over 80) are involved in our Facebook Group which will also allow us the ability to get together at a Springfield Watering Hole the night before and see if anybody is interested in doing any other activities during the weekend.
We can make it more than just a few hours at the Reunion itself.
If you have any further questions/concerns you are most welcome to contact either Liz Isherwood Johnson (704-293-1482) or Ray Supper (813-888-6070)
Thank you very much for your participation and look forward to have a really great 35th Reunion.
